Hollywood Fringe Postcards - First Run
I designed a series of postcards to be released at specific times during planning of the Festival to help gather interest and support. This was the first postcard released, and it was intended just to arouse curiousity and pique interest. The sunrise indicates the beginning of something new, as well establishing to new viewers the main look of the Fringe: hand-drawn, clean and vibrant colors, and a visual playfulness. It also establishes the Fringe Festival color palette of orange, black, and white. The skyline and hills in the background are evocative of the landscape of Hollywood itself, further cementing the brand.
