Hollywood Fringe Festival Website
There were several big considerations that went into the design of the Hollywood Fringe website, but number one was making it intuitive and easy to use. We had played around with lots of different rough, more "street" designs, and although a lot of them looked great, the design was getting in the way of the functionality for the user experience, so we went with a cleaner approach. We still wanted to use the hand-drawn, hand-made look and also have as much color as possible. The Fringe Freaks here, as pretty much everywhere else, are all drawn by hand and then refined and painted in Photoshop.
